Alexander & Eve is a catalog of all the rooms and spaces I find beautiful and inspirational. It is for the bedrooms that make you want to sleep all day and the chair you want to read a book in. It is for the laundry that makes you look forward to dirty clothes and the kitchen that inspires you to bake. It is a place for beautiful homes, inside and out.

Oh sweet symmetry.
I just look at this and my eyes flit between everything that's so wonderful. Roman shades! Doggies! Zebra! Roman shades! Doggies! Zebra! And so on. Picture perfect don't you think?

Think Pink: The Sequel
I've posted before about how I never thought I'd be a fan of pink furniture. And I was wrong then. My heart was won over by a pair of pink chairs and guess what? The chairs weren't in a five year old girl's fairy themed bedroom. They were the star attraction of a gorgeous adult sized lounge room. I know.
I'll just give you a moment to compose yourselves.
Anyway, it's happened again. I honestly thought the pink chairs were a one off stroke of genius by some brilliant furniture designer who was also responsible for a number of average looking chairs with self esteem issues. If I was some boring old chesterfield arm chair I'd be feeling pretty inadequate too. That being said, I do have some fairly deep seated issues when it comes to chesterfields, as we had them in our living room when I was a child, and they were so darn stiff, uncomfortable and freezing cold that I would rather lie on the floor. Ok that's a little dramatic, but I still hated them. As fascinating as all that is, I'll let you swoon over MORE pink furniture now. Shield the eyes of any nearby chesterfields, they may want to die.
